Schools across the Thinking Schools Academy Trust each organised their own fundraising events to raise money for Children in Need this November. At Cedar Children’s Academy, we held a brilliant cake sale, and our pupils came to school dressed in their own clothes, and with odd socks to celebrate Anti-Bullying Week! We displayed a Pudsey-ometer on the wall at Cedar on Children in Need Day, which we used to track how much money we had raised. By the end of the day, we had exceeded the Pudsey-ometer, raising an incredible £797.85! We donated half of our total to Children in Need, and the other half of our funds was donated to Medway Foodbank.
We had such a brilliant, fun-filled day, collecting donations for such an important cause. The Thinking Schools Academy Trust managed to raise a total of £8,000 (and counting!) for Children in Need, and we are proud of our students for contributing to this impressive donation. Well done to all of our pupils for taking part, and thank you to everybody who donated!
