Active Kent & Medway delivered Eco Ambassador Training with workshops on sustainability and active travel, enabling pupils to plan environmental actions in school and apply for funding to support eco-friendly projects.
The Art Exhibition on Wednesday 4 February showcased pupils’ creative progress through sketchbooks, photographs and final pieces, with children confidently sharing the skills and techniques learned since September.
Alexei and Dylan were celebrated at Cedar Children’s Academy after winning a meal voucher for excellent or improved attendance, chosen at random from over one hundred eligible pupils in assembly.
Year 6 pupils from Cedar Children’s Academy visited the Houses of Parliament for a tour, workshop and meeting with Lauren Edwards MP, enjoying an inspiring day despite the wet weather.
Cedar Children’s Academy has been recognised by Active Kent & Medway for completing the Everyday Active Schools workshop and embedding a whole school approach to improving wellbeing, learning, and engagement through daily physical activity.
Pupils delivered a fantastic charity performance, showing dedication, maturity and teamwork after weeks of rehearsals, raising funds for the Oliver Fisher Trust and impressing the local community.
